By improving the structure of the cooling tower, thegravitationalpotential energy of the cooling water is converted into mechanical energy, and then the mechanical energy is converted into electric-power kinetic energy to achieve the efficient utilization of resources. According to the method, by arranging a hydroelectric power generation unit above a water collection pool, the potential energy of the water is utilized to enable magnesium-aluminum lightweightcorrosion-resistant blades to rotate, the blades drive a power generator to generate power after accelerated by a speed changing gear, and the power is supplied to electrical equipment after output current is rectified and inverted.
