Power-flow current arc-breaking device

The present invention discloses a power-flow current arc-breaking device capable of rapidly cutting off a power-flow current caused by thunder and lightning, protecting a circuit from being damaged bythe thunder and lightning and reducing the number of times of lighting trip-out when the thunder and lightning occurs. The power-flow current arc-breaking device is applied to an anti-thunder insulator with a discharging gap or an anti-thunder insulator strain clamp (string) on a power transmission and distribution overhead line, and the power-flow current arc-breaking device comprises an arc breaking tube and two arc strike electrodes, wherein the arc breaking tube is tightly connected with two arc strike electrodes. Arc discharge holes or arc discharge slots are arranged at sides of the power-flow current arc-breaking device.
