Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses a method and system for controlling movements of robots on basis of gesture recognition. The method comprises the following steps of: making a gesture by a user and obtaining an image or a video of the user gesture; processing the image to obtain a gesture feature image with user gesture representativeness, or processing the video to obtain a user gesture intention; matching the gesture feature image or the user gesture intention with a pre-defined gesture through gesture recognition; and after the matching succeeds, obtaining a control instruction corresponding to thematched pre-defined gesture and transmitting the control instruction to a controlled robot.
