Fault arc detection method and device

The invention discloses a fault arc detection method and device, which relate to the field of electrical safety fire fighting. The method comprises the steps of extracting the high frequency componentsignal of current in an electrical loop; obtaining the scale parameter of the current based on the high frequency component signal; determining that the electrical loop includes the fault arc under the situation that the scale parameter is larger than the scale threshold.
