The 3D technology based sock making method includes: using a foot profile measurement device to acquire human foot profiledata, and generating a foot profile figure according to the foot profile data; and generating a sock according to the foot profile figure. When the human foot profile data is acquired, a foot is placed on a foot bottom support unit of the foot profile measurement device, and the foot bottom support unit is made of an elastic deformable material; foot bottom data sensors are arranged on the foot bottom support unit and are used for acquiring the foot bottom profile data.
