The hybrid power system comprises an engine, a battery, a first gear assembly, a clutchassembly, a second gear assembly, a motor, a hydraulic pump, a variable displacement hydromotor and a differential, wherein the engine, the first transmission end of the first gear assembly, the clutch assembly and the third transmission end of the second gear assembly are sequentially in transmission connection; a second transmission end of the first gear assembly is in transmission coupling withthe hydraulic pump through a transmission shaft; a liquid outlet of the hydraulic pump communicates with a liquid inlet of the variable displacement motor through an oil pipe, and a liquid inlet of the hydraulic pump communicates with a liquid outlet of the variable displacement motor through an oil pipe; the variable displacement hydromotor is in transmission coupling with the differential; thedifferential is in transmis
