Disclosed herein is an assembly for controlling solid-state switching elements in an aircraft having at least one power pathway (1a, 1b) comprising at least one power line (6a, 6b) supplying power toat least one item of equipment on board an aircraft from at least one electrical power source via a power switch (7a, 7b), and at least one control member (9a, 9b) controlling at least one power switch (7a, 7b) according to control signals arising from a control means (10a, 10b).
