The invention discloses an anode tray conveyor and a conveying method. According to the anode tray conveyor and the conveying method, a tray is conveyed to the position above a tray loading position of the anode tray conveyor through a forklift. A loading lifting device is started, the tray on the forklift is supported away from the forklift through the loading lifting device, and the forklift retreats. After the forklift retreats, the loading lifting device descends and returns, and the tray is placed on a supporting wheel of the anode tray conveyor. A motor is started and drives the supporting wheel to rotate to convey the tray to a tray unloading position, and the motor is turned off.
