The mobile terminals (2) can receive data sent by any one electric energy meter (1) and send a control instruction to the electric energy meter (1). The electric energy meter system further comprises a cloud platform center (3), the mobile terminals (2) and the electric energy meters (1) being connected to the cloud platform center (3) by means of a network. By means of interconnection established between a mobile terminal (2) and an electric energy meter (1), and by means of a mobile terminal service module (21) installed on the mobile terminal (2), the mobile terminal (2) implements a monitoring function and a transmission function for the electric energy meter (1).
