Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a method for inducing differentiation of flower buds of a bayberry female tree to form staminate flowers. According to the method, in a flower bud differentiation period of a bayberry female tree, a plant growth inhibitor is applied to branches, differentiation of the flower buds of bayberry is induced to form staminate inflorescence, wherein the plant growth inhibitor comprises one or more of paclobutrazol, uniconazole, prohexadione calcium and triiodobenzoic acid. The method is simple, convenient, fast and efficient, and can provide bayberry hybridization with male parent pollen which has clear source and property, so that bayberry crossbreeding is smoothly carried out. The method provides a base for culturing diversified bayberry varieties.
