The invention discloses a parameter adjusting method and a parameter adjusting device, which are used for solving the technical problem that an optimal image observation effect cannot be achieved through monitoring in the prior art. The parameter adjusting method comprises the steps of: judging whether a current position of a camera is a preset position; if the current position is the preset position, determining a monitoring parameter corresponding to the current position; and adjusting a current monitoring parameter of the camera to be the monitoring parameter. Through adopting the parameteradjusting method and the parameter adjusting device, different monitoring parameters can be adopted at different preset positions, thereby ensuring that the monitoring image observation effect can beoptimized at different preset positions. 本发明公开了提供种参数调整方法及装置，用以解决现有技术中存在不能监控取得较优的图像观测效果的技术问题。方法为：判断所述摄像机所处的当前位置是否是预置位；若所述当前位置是预置位，则确定所述当前位置对应的监控参数；将所述摄像机的当前监控参数调整为所述监控参数。使得不同的预置位可以采用不同的监控参数，确保在不同的预置位均能使得监控的图像观测效果达到最优。
