The side valve comprises a valve body, a valve clack, a balance cavity piston, a valve rod, a valve coverand a hydraulic driving mechanism; the valve body is of a hollow structure, the valve clack and the balance cavity piston are all arranged inside the valve body, the balance piston is located in a cylindrical cavity in the middle of the valve body, and one end of the valve rod extends into the valve body to be connected with the valve clack; and the valve cover is arranged on one end of the valvebody in a covering mode, and the hydraulic driving mechanism is connected with the valve rod.
