The invention discloses a computation method and system for presenting search results. The method comprises steps of receiving a search query from a user and including one or more search items, responding to the search query, acquiring a public searching result from a search engine, acquiring a personal search result from a personal database according to the user personal database including one or more file determination responding to the search query, and presenting the personal search result and public search result.
