Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a boric acid modified phenolic resin, which comprises phenol, paraformaldehyde, and boric acid, wherein the mole ratio of phenol to paraformaldehyde is 1.0:1.2, and boric acid accounts for 8% of total weight of phenol, paraformaldehyde, and boric acid. The synthesized modified phenolic/epoxy resin is high temperature resistant; the decomposition temperature of the modified resin is raised to 500 DEG C or more, and the heatproof performance of the resin can meet the requirements. Compared with conventional phenolic resin, the boric acid modified resin has a better heatproof performance. The impact toughness of high temperature braking friction materials and burning resistant products, which are prepared from the boric acid modified phenolic resin, is obviously improved.
