Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a detection method of formaldehyde, more specifically to a method for detecting total extractable formaldehyde in leather or fur. The method can detect the content of free and all reversibly-bound formaldehyde in a leather or fur sample. The method comprises: 1) shearing a leather or fur sample into particles with both the length and width less than 4 mm, and performing uniform mixing; 2) weighing 1-2 g of sheared samples obtained in the step 1), putting the weighed samples in 500 mL of a whole-glass distiller, adding 1-10 mL of a phosphoric acid solution and a plurality of glass beads, adding 100 mL of water, and performing distillation with medium heat; 3) connecting the distiller in the step 2) to a condensation apparatus, inserting a lower port of a condenser pipe of the condensation apparatus to a conical flask containing 10 mL of distilled water in advance, and putting the conical flask in an ice water mixed bath to prevent overheating of a distillate and formaldehyde volatiliza |
