Method for improving orchard soil

The invention discloses a method for improving orchard soil. The method comprises the following steps: sowing wild mung beans in an orchard in late May with the growth period from May to October, sowing wild mung beans in the mid-late October with the growth period from October to June the following year. The orchard is covered by leguminous forage all year long for nitrogen fixation and soil amelioration. Withered forage and straws are utilized for covering the orchard and help improve soil fertility after decaying so that the content of organic matters is increased. The forage and straws are different from leguminous ever-green grass varieties.
