Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a FPGA-based LiFi signal demodulation method and a demodulator. The method includes the following steps: receiving a signal which is transmitted by a transmitting terminal, wherein the signal carries a channel idle marking signal flg_idll and a starting marking signal of a frame of data; sampling an input signal at a 3T0/8 moment of T0, using the rising edge of a set sampling marking signal flg_smp to sample the received signal; counting the pulse in the sampling signal, if the counting of pulse within time T0 is N1, determining that a 1 signal is received, if the counting of pulse within time T0 is N2, determining that a 0 signal is received. According to the embodiments of the invention, the demodulation method and demodulator can ensure that, in presence of data transmission or not, the illumination light which carries transmission data can maintain normal lighting function, and ensures correct data reception in case the clocks at the transmitting and receiving ends are unsimultane
