Optical module and optical communication system

The embodiments of the invention disclose an optical module and an optical communication system. The optical module includes: a driver, a laser and a resistor device, wherein the driver is intended for driving the laser. The laser is intended for generating laser under the drive of the driver, and the laser is disposed on a laser circuit board. The driver and the laser are connected through a first high speed signal line and a second high speed signal line. One end of the resistor device is connected to a first welding base pin of the first high speed signal line on the laser circuit board, and the other end of the resistor device is connected to a second welding pin of the second high speed signal line on the laser circuit board. The resistor device can regulate the impedance mutation caused by welding pins, increases impedance matching level of the optical module, and increases properties of the optical module.
