Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a simple and efficient rearing device for laodelphax striatellus Fallen. A main body of the device is a transparent plastic bowl with 1L volume. The bottom of the transparent plastic bowl is fixed with a thin foam board. A circular hole with proper size is chiseled in the center between the transparent plastic bowl and the thin foam board and used for fixing rice seedlings such that roots of the rice seedlings penetrate through the bottom of the transparent plastic bowl and the foam board. The parts above roots remain in the transparent plastic bowl. By putting laodelphax striatellus Fallen into the transparent plastic bowl, an 80-mesh net cover covers the bowl at the top. Then, the overall device is put into a larger container which holds a rice nutrition solution. Finally, the container is moved to an artificial climate box with properly-set temperature, humidity, light intensity and time.
