The invention provides a biomass ring press forming machine. A rotating roller is rotationally arranged in the shell and located below a feeding opening. The rotating roller is provided with a plurality of mold covers. Every two adjacent mold covers, the inner wall of the shell and the rotating roller define a material storage cavity receiving biomass materials. A mold holder is hinged to one side in the rotation direction of the rotating roller in the shell. The mold holder is jacked up by an oil cylinder or an air cylinder and extends into the corresponding material storage cavity, so that the mold covers squeeze the mold holder in the rotation process along with the rotating roller and overcomes the action force of the oil cylinder or the air cylinder so as to go over the mold holder; and besides, in the process, the mold covers and the mold holder conduct extrusion formation on the biomass materials in the material storage cavities.
