Method and apparatus for realizing system installation

The invention provides a method and apparatus for realizing system installation. The method comprises the following steps: configuring a unified dynamic host configuration protocol configuration (DHCP) service, and performing virtual machine parameter configuration on one or more created virtual machines; and separately reading system mirror images for the created virtual machines by pre-started execution environment (PXE) service for the virtual machines accomplishing the parameter configuration to perform system installation.
