The engineered bacterium is capable of coexpressing a Dichomitus squalens internal tangent-1,4-beta-D-glucanase gene and a Phanerochaete chrysosporium external tangent-1,4-beta-D-glucanase gene. Compared with a wild bacillus subtillis strain, the bacillus subtillis genetically engineered bacterium has a remarkably increased cellulose degradation speed, and the degradation rate of cellulose in hay with the engineered bacterium is increased to 91.45% from 42.30% after 96 hours of fermentation, that is, the degradation rate is increased by 49.15%.
