The embodiment of the invention provides a method for information search, and relates to the technical field of information processing. The method for the information search is used for achieving quick search of a DICOM file. According to the method, a filtering condition typed in by a user is received, wherein the filtering condition is used for representing attribute information related to the DICOM file; according to the filtering condition, at least one DICOM file related to the attribute information is screen from a specified data set.
