Zusammenfassung: | A catalyst for polyvinyl chloride production and a preparing method thereof are provided. The catalyst is a plate catalyst prepared from mercuric chloride, hydroxypropyl-beta-cyclodextrin, X-type zeolite, attapulgite modified with potassium halide and a skeleton, wherein the mass ratio of the mercuric chloride, the hydroxypropyl-beta-cyclodextrin, the X-type zeolite and the attapulgite modified with potassium halide is 5-15:2-12:20-25:100, and the mass ratio of potassium halide to attapulgite in the attapulgite modified with potassium halide is 8-12:100. Compared with the prior art, the catalyst and the method are advantageous in that (1) mixture viscosity and adhesive force to the skeleton are increased, thus preventing cracks, falling and shaping failures of the plate catalyst in a high-temperature calcinating process, and improving chemical adsorption functions of the attapulgite for the solid mercuric chloride and gas raw materials which are acetylene and hydrogen chloride; (2) the mercuric chloride relea |
