The highway toll collection system comprises a highway toll collection cloud center module, a regional toll gate server, a license plate recognition and traffic situation monitoring module, an iBeacon positioning node, and a mobile phone client. The highway toll collection cloud center module is connected with the regional toll gate server via an optical fiber. The regional toll gate server is connected with the iBeacon positioning node and the license plate recognition and traffic situation monitoring module via optical fibers. The iBeacon positioning node exchanges data with the mobile client through Bluetooth.
