Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a determination method of carbomer content in gel containing carbomer. The determination method is characterized by comprising the following steps: adding a certain amount of an alkaline solution to enable a carboxylic acid group of the carbomer in the gel to exist at an ion state; then adding an excessive amount of a metal salt solution and sufficiently mixing metal salt and the carboxylic acid group in the carbomer to generate a complex; after removing the complex, titrating unbound metal salt by utilizing an EDTA (Ethylene Diamine Tetraacetic Acid) titrating solution, so as to calculate the content of the carbomer in a sample.
