The compound has good recognition performance on Fe and can reach the detection limit on Fe up to 1.07ppm; and the polyhydroxy fluorescent compound is simple in preparation method, low in cost of raw materials, readily available for the raw materials, free of obvious toxicity to cells, and wide in application range of detection of Fe in environment and living bodies. 本发明公开了种多羟基荧光化合物，具有如式I所示的结构。本发明对Fe具有很好的识别性能，且对Fe检测极限达到1.07ppm；该多羟基荧光化合物的制备方法简易，原料价廉易得，对细胞无明显毒性，在环境、生物体内Fe的检测等方面具有广泛应用前景。
