System configuration file modification method and system

The method comprises the steps that whether a configuration file under a preset directory is modified is detected in a timing mode; if the configuration file is modified according to a detection result, the updated configuration file is read; and the updated configuration file is loaded into a cache. By the adoption of the method, updated configuration items can take effect without the need for updating a server, updating efficiency is improved, and operation of a platform cannot be influenced.
