The invention discloses a treatment and utilization method for sewage and wastewater in coal chemical industry. The method comprises the following steps: separately treating production wastewater and production sewage to obtain a salt product and usable fresh water, wherein the production wastewater is wastewater which is not polluted by industrial materials, and the production sewage is sewage polluted by the industrial materials. By adopting the technical scheme, the treatment and utilization method disclosed by the invention has the advantages that on one hand, the production amount of abraum salt is greatly reduced, and a salable salt product is generated at the same time; on the other hand, the amount of an outward-drained crystal tail solution is greatly reduced; moreover, reclaimed water as desalted fresh water is generated and can be used for a circular cooling system, so that the concentration ratio of the circular cooling system is increased, the supplementary water capacity is reduced, and further
