The disclosed device (10) provides an improved mounting assembly for supporting elongated items or bundles (80) against a support surface (100) having a bore. The assembly provides a mount including an integrally formed flexible tie (12) for retaining the items. The tie (12) includes a hinge member (70) to allow the tie (12) to encircle the elongate items (80), to apply an even circumferential force against the items, and to align the items with the bore. The tie (12) further includes an aperture having a pawl, which engages the flexible strap (12) when it is inserted in the aperture to secure the elongate items (80). The device (10) also includes a mounting stud having a plurality of branch rows, each row including a plurality of longitudinally spaced branches.
