Data storage method and automobile data recorder

The invention discloses a data storage method, which is applied to an automobile data recorder. The automobile data recorder comprises an image pickup device, a data memory and a DDR, wherein the data memory is used for storing data information obtained by the image pickup device. The data storage method comprises the following steps of monitoring whether the data memory generates work abnormality or not in real time; if the data memory generates work abnormality, storing data information obtained by the image pickup device to the DDR; controlling the on-off state of a power supply circuit of the data memory; when the data memory works normally; transmitting the data information stored by the DDR to the data memory. The invention also discloses the automobile data recorder.
