The method comprises: receiving a plurality of bicycle label identifications sent by a detection device on a bicycle ramp and a plurality of received Signal strength indication (RSSI) values sent by the detection device; performing screening and calculation of a plurality of RSSI values according to the bicycle label identifications to obtain a plurality of target RSSI values; and determining the number of the target RSSI values satisfying a preset condition in the target RSSI values, and taking the number of the target RSSI values as the traffic flow at the current moment. The present invention further discloses a traffic flow statistics device.
