The invention relates to a method for maintaining local service of a mobile terminal in communication cell switching. The method comprises the following steps: monitoring an instruction interaction between a communication cell base station and a core network through source MEC equipment, and obtaining cell switching information from a communication cell switching instruction; judging whether a target communication cell to be switched to is under the management of the source MEC equipment, if the target communication cell to be switched to is under the management of the source MEC equipment, updating the attribute of the local connection of the mobile corresponding to the communication cell switching instruction, and maintaining the local connection; otherwise, generating a local service reconstruction message, and sending the local service reconstruction message to the target MEC equipment for managing the target communication cell after the mobile terminal switches the communication cell. The invention furth
