A weighing-type telemetering rain gauge capable of discharging water automatically includes a rain barrel, a funnel, a water storage funnel, a water storage barrel, a submerged pump, a weighing tray, a weighing sensor and a collection processor. The funnel and the water storage funnel are fixed in the upper part of the rain barrel. The water storage barrel is disposed on the weighing tray in the rain barrel. The weighing tray is disposed on the weighing sensor. The water storage funnel is connected with the submerged pump through a water inlet pipe. The water inlet pipe is provided with a stop valve. A water outlet in the water inlet pipe below the stop valve is connected with a water outlet in the rain barrel through an exhaust pipe. The data collection processor includes a short text message module, a clock module, an LED display screen storage module, a single-chip microprocessor, a D/A conversion module, a relay module and a power source weighing module. According to the invention, rainfall collection pre
