Zusammenfassung:The purpose of the invention is to measure the vascular elastic modulus precisely in a short time. This device for evaluating the vascular elastic modulus (1) comprises: a pressure detection unit (26) that detects a pulse wave in a state in which external pressure is applied to a blood vessel; and a control unit (10) that forms, from the value detected by the pressure detection unit (26), a pulse wave amplitude showing dependent properties due to elasticity of the blood vessel, and that calculates a positive area during the rising stage of the pulse wave amplitude and a negative area during the falling stage and derives the vascular elastic modulus by using these values. 本发明能够在短时间内高精度地测量血管弹性率;本发明的血管弹性率评价装置(1)具备:压力检测部(26),其在向血管施加外部压力的状态下检测脉搏波;以及控制部(10),其根据压力检测部(26)的检测值形成表示依赖于血管弹性的特性的脉搏波振幅,计算出脉搏波振幅的上升过程中的正面积和下降过程中的负面积,并利用该正面积和负面积的值导出血管弹性率。
