Method for preparing architectural coating on basis of wheat gluten protein

The invention discloses a method for preparing an architectural coating on the basis of wheat gluten protein. The method includes the steps of a), pretreatment of the wheat gluten protein, namely subjecting the wheat gluten protein containing 65%-90% of protein dry basis to pretreatment of micro-refining process; b), preparation of a wheat gluten protein solution, namely dissolving wheat gluten protein powder obtained in the step a) in an isopropyl alcohol solution and stirring for 40-80 minutes to form the wheat gluten protein solution; c), preparation of a wheat gluten protein coating, namely adding, by weight, 0.20-1.00 part of kaolin and 0.20-0.90 part of light calcium carbonate to the wheat gluten protein solution obtained in the step b) to prepare the wheat-gluten-protein architectural coating. With the method, dispersibility, hydrophobicity and the like of the wheat gluten protein in liquid phase are obviously improved, a new product of the wheat gluten protein is developed, and new paths are provided
