Widget registration method and device

The invention discloses a Widget registration method and device. The method comprises the steps that a Widget package containing a to-be-registered Widget component is decompressed, and properties of the Widget package are obtained, wherein the properties include the content, style and display content of the Widget package; when it is determined that the properties of the Widget package conform to a first set rule, the Widget component in the Widget package is obtained; the Widget component is authenticated; and when the Widget component conforms to a second set rule, it is determined that registration of the Widget component is completed.
