Tobacco stem preparation method

The invention discloses a tobacco stem preparation method. The tobacco stem preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) tobacco stem pretreatment: preparing tobacco stem raw materials into homogeneous-morphology tobacco stems; (2) stem moistening: pumping vapor into the tobacco stems processed in the step (1) to perform stem moistening till the moisture content is 35-40%, and balancing moisture for 180-240 min; (3) defibering and stem stripping: feeding the tobacco stems processed in the step (2) into a fluffer to perform defibering and stem stripping, wherein after defibering and stem stripping, the moisture content of the stems is 30-35%; (4) stem expanding: expanding the stems processed in the step (3) by use of high-pressure vapor till the expansion rate is 50-80%; (5) stem drying: performing tunnel-type hot-air three-stage drying on the stems processed in the step (4); and (6) screening.
