The invention discloses a fuel unit pump assembly comprising an isolator. The fuel unit pump assembly comprises a fuel unit pump 180 and an isolator 1, the fuel unit pump comprising a pump mounting flange 180a protruding from the pump body 180b, the isolator comprising an isolator body which is substantially plate shaped and being provided with at least one through hole 2 for pump mounting fasteners 20 to couple the pump mounting flange 180a to a first surface (11, fig 3) of the isolator body, the isolator further comprising at least one engine coupling portion protruding from a second surface (12) of the isolator body, the second surface being opposite the first surface, the at least one engine coupling portion being provided with a through hole 3 for engine mounting fasteners 30 to couple the isolator to an engine structure 111 of the internal combustion engine.
