Coating for protecting glass and preparation method thereof

The invention discloses a coating for protecting glass and a preparation method thereof. The coating contains a mixed emulsion of a siloxane modified polyurethane emulsion and an acrylic emulsion; siloxane is adopted for modifying a polyurethane prepolymer, thus obtaining the siloxane modified polyurethane emulsion for preparing the coating, so that the adhesion and water resistance of the coating are improved, the water immersion adhesion of a film formed by the coating is obviously superior to that of a conventional glass coating; the stability of the coating is enhanced through mixing the siloxane modified polyurethane emulsion and the acrylic emulsion; the coating contains nano-metal oxide and nano silicon carbide, so that the adhesion of the coating on the surface of the glass is further enhanced, and the good scratch resistance, scrub resistance and weather resistance of the coating are realized, so that the glass can be better protected; dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether and ethyl(methyl) triethoxy(m
