Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses common wheat low molecular weight glutenin as well as an encoding gene and application thereof. An amino acid sequence of the common wheat low molecular weight glutenin is as shown in SEQ ID No. 1; a nucleotide sequence of the encoding gene of the common wheat low molecular weight glutenin is as shown in SEQ ID No. 2; the invention also discloses a method for identifying whether common wheat contains the encoding gene as shown in the SEQ ID No. 2 or not. Allele variant type GluD3-13 is found on the 1A chromosome of Yanzhan 4110 for the first time, so that an excellent exogenous gene can be provided for wheat breeding. A peptide chain P-13 corresponding to the allele variant type GluD3-13 and LMW-GS containing seven cysteine residues can reduce the protein of flour and improve the weak gluten property of flour quality, and can be used as good parents for hybridization of high-quality wheat materials. The Yanzhan 4110 is a gene resource for high quality wheat breeding.
