Cooling method and device for hot-rolled intermediate slab

The invention discloses a cooling method for a hot-rolled intermediate slab. The method includes the steps that (1) the temperature of the intermediate slab 1 at a roughing mill outlet is detected; (2) the number of sets of cooling manifolds needing to be started is calculated; (3) the corresponding number of the sets of the cooling manifolds can be started according to the calculation result; and (4) the temperature of the intermediate slab 1 entering a finishing mill inlet is detected, and if the temperature of the intermediate slab 1 does not reach a preset temperature range value, the number of the sets of the cooling manifolds is controlled to be decreased; and if the temperature of the intermediate slab 1 exceeds the preset temperature range value, the number of the sets of the cooling manifolds is controlled to be increased. By the adoption of the method, alloy compositions of strip steel can be lowered, cost is reduced, and the production efficiency and product performance can be effectively improved.
