A connecting apparatus is used for connecting a first component with a second component in a shape matching manner. The first component includes an elstic edge strip having a latch hook. For the purpose of connecting the first component and the second component in a releasable manner without using a tool, the elastic edge strip is locked to the second component through a lug.
