The phenylborate bond is fractured if pH < 7 and is recovered if pH > 7, so that the hydrogel has a pH-responded self-repairing performance. A main raw material of the hydrogel is natural polysaccharide, so that the hydrogel has excellent biocompatibility and also has pH-responding property and self-repairing performance. The hydrogel has wide applications in the fields of controllable release of drugs, tissue engineering and the like.
