Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a local oscillator and a local oscillator signal generating method. Output terminals of a voltage controlled oscillator are connected with input terminals of RC-CR phase shift networks. Output terminals of two RC-CR phase shift networks are connected with input terminals of a first frequency dividing circuit and a second frequency dividing circuit and first input terminals of an image-reject mixer. Output terminals of the first frequency dividing circuit or the second frequency dividing circuit are connected with second input terminals of the image-reject mixer. Output terminals of the image-reject mixer are connected with input terminals of a third frequency dividing circuit. A local oscillator signal is generated by generating an orthogonal signal first and then mixing. Compared with the method in which a local oscillator signal is generated by mixing first and then generating an orthogonal signal, the method provided by the invention has the advantage of improved output signal freque
