Zusammenfassung:	A drive device is disclosed for a motor vehicle having a combustion engine (12), a feed line (16) for supplying combustion air to the combustion engine (12), and a compressor unit (26) cooperating with the feed line (16) for compressing combustion air for the combustion engine (12). One or more torque generators (32) are operable independently of the combustion engine (12) and selectively coupled to the compressor unit (26). A control unit (60) is configured to actuate the torque generator (32) in such manner that the torque generator (32) drives the compressor unit (26) at least for a time before the start of the combustion engine (12).
