Magnesium silicon nitride powder and preparation method thereof

The invention relates to magnesium silicon nitride powder and a preparation method thereof. The technical scheme comprises the following steps: using 10-15 wt% of magnesium powder, 15-25 wt% of silica and 65-75 wt% of inorganic salt as raw materials and mixing the raw materials for 0.5-1 h; then under the conditions of 0.1-1 MPa and nitrogen atmosphere, heating to a medium temperature at the rate of 5-10 DEG C/min; and heating to firing temperature at the rate of 3-5 DEG C/min, carrying out thermal insulation for 1-7 h, cooling with a furnace, washing, and drying to prepare the magnesium silicon nitride powder. The firing temperature is 900-1300 DEG C, and the temperature difference between the medium temperature and the firing temperature is 100-200 DEG C.
