The chicken feed comprises, by mass, 16% of mulberry pomace powder, 45% of corn flour, 21% of soybean cake powder and the like. The preparation method comprises the following steps: drying and crushing fresh mulberry pomace and carrying out crushing and sieving with a 30-to-60-mesh sieve so as to obtain the mulberry pomace powder; adding corn flour, soybean cake powder, fish meal and insect powder and carrying out uniform mixing; and adding calcium hydrogen phosphate, sodium chloride, stone flour, a premix and plant oil so as to obtain a mixture and drying the mixture so as to obtain the chicken feed. According to the invention, the mulberry pomace is low in cost, so the production cost of the chicken feed can be reduced by using the waste mulberry pomace, resources are saved, and safety and environmental protection are realized.
