Zusammenfassung: | The present invention discloses a novel ultra wide band antenna with a groove shaped like Chinese character gong and symmetrical resonant cavity structures and having a trapped wave characteristic. The antenna comprises a dielectric substrate (1), a radiation unit (2), the groove shaped like the Chinese character gong on the radiation unit, a microstrip transmission line (4), resonant cavities of metal structures (5) and a grounding surface (6). The radiation unit, the microstrip transmission line and the resonant cavities of metal structures are all printed on the upper surface of the dielectric substrate, the radiation unit is located in the middle part of the dielectric substrate, the triangular resonant cavities of metal structures are located at the two sides of the microstrip transmission line, and the groove shaped like the Chinese character gong is slotted on the radiation unit.
