By means of the distance separation device and method, the technical problems that existing distance separation devices are low in efficiency and accuracy degree are solved. The distance separation device comprises a base plate, optical shaft supports, guiding optical shafts, slide blocks, poking claws, a swing driving device and a distance separation cylinder. The guiding optical shafts are connected with the base plate through the optical shaft supports. The slide blocks are connected with the guiding optical shafts. The poking claws are connected with the slide blocks. The swing driving device is connected to the base plate. The distance separation cylinder is connected with the swing driving device.
